Duel at New Boston

It was the hottest of days.

Not a breeze was stirring except for the ruffle of  cards as the deck is shuffled.

An oath rings out.

Words are spoken which cannot be recalled.

Honor is demanded.

The parson is summoned to perhaps soothe angry tempers.

His words fall on deaf ears.

Seconds watch as pistols are loaded.

The surgeon, is prepared.

The seconds retire to their respective sides.

Stratgey is discussed.

Aim is taken.

Volley is fired.

  1. Hi,

Nice pictures, horse riding is a good habit for everyone. Thank you for this post. I like this kind of people who share their knowledge with others.
